I don't know if I've mentioned this but, apparently, my parents bought my uncle's Ford Galaxy after all, and they'd been trying to sell my dad's Renault Twingo. They had been, until this week, when some couple that lives down the street—I think—decided to buy it. Great, you say. Ahh, but wait. They didn't get the couple to sign because they gave them some retarded reason. Now, if there's one thing I've learnt, it's that depending on the kindness of strangers—contrary to what Blanche DuBois claims—is generally a bad idea. So last night, apparently, the woman called, to demand a €500 price drop. The deal's off. Nice. As we're getting the Galaxy as soon as my uncle's new car is delivered, we're likely to have no less than 3 cars soon. But I'd trade it all in for a little more.
