I've had a rather nasty blister on both my feet since I went out wearing my new shoes last Saturday. Now, my aunt's a nurse, and she once said it's better to puncture blisters and even cut the dead skin off. Not. Having done so two days ago, I feel pretty stupid. As should my aunt. I'm not putting shoes on again until Friday, for class, and I'm hoping it won't get much worse, since I'm planning to go to Condodance (oh, Buddha, that's an awful name) on Saturday. Anyway, kids, remember two things: “Do not puncture a blister unless it is large, painful, or likely to be further irritated.” and “Do not remove the skin over a broken blister. The new skin underneath needs this protective cover.” Source: WebMD.
