Just this morning, I was surrounded by hundreds of 17- and 18-year-olds. Some were hot, some were not. Some were straight, some—hopefully—less straight. Though it doesn’t matter, really, since I’ll never see them again.
“Sin City”: 6.5/10. You’ll love it if you’re into stereotypical storylines, worn-out color effects, excessive amounts of ludicrous violence and presumably attractive young women. Personally, I’m not.
“Sitcom”: 7.5/10. Well, the French are indeed odd. I’m not sure what to write about it. Let’s go with “pleasingly absurd”. Right on.
You’re gonna think I’m writing this to brag, but, honestly, I write about literally everything here, so the following is worth mentioning too. My Studium Generale paper on truth, which earned me a whopping 18/20, got the highest grade among all of the 200+ papers handed in across all of my school’s departments. Consequently, it will be published in next year’s Studium Generale book. It doesn’t affect me that much, but I won’t deny that it makes me feel at least a bit proud.
Update: You can download the PDF if you’d like to read my paper. I should probably mention that it’s in Dutch.
Blogger seems to be inserting some wicked HTML—an empty <div> with some styling—right before and after the post body all of a sudden. A quick s|<div\b[^>]+></div>||g helps me hack it out, but I’m hoping to find a better solution.
Update: These people, among others, have noticed it too. For my blog, it wouldn’t even be an issue if it didn’t invalidate my XHTML 1.1.
Even though I don’t have any dandruff, I tried the free sample of L’Oréal Elsève anti-dandruff shampoo that came with Gus mag. I wouldn’t recommend it. It smells like toilet soap.
Most shallow post evarrr.
