All in all, despite being sick, it has been a pretty constructive week. I should have my new chair in a couple of weeks, and I’ve got a new modem, which means I’ll get a connection upgrade on Monday.
“Funny story?” you ask? Well, it’s your lucky day! So we’re at the store, right, and my dad goes on one of his patented “Let’s throw fancy brand names at the guy so he thinks I know what I’m talking about” sprees and starts bragging about being “in design” (he does some DTP), so the sales guy slash store owner immediately sees where it’s going and goes “Hey, how about that weather, huh?” Awesome. Simply awesome. So I’ve decided to ignore the fact that he insinuated that I was a heterosexual—twice, actually.
