We’ve got the day off tomorrow, which gives me time for … random tidbits!
I didn’t expect miracles, but I am somewhat disappointed with what I’ve been reading about the Zune’s software. Even though I’m still convinced proper funding and marketing can turn any average MP3 player into a direct competitor for the iPod, there are boundaries.
As you may already know, the Wii’s attempt to bring sheer fun back to console games has tickled my interest and I will be considering buying one. The DVD announcement is likely to make me hold off for a year though, especially since my TV set isn’t exactly Wii-compatible anyway, so I’ll have to upgrade that first.
My notebook broke. That is to say, I think the hard drive’s connector has come loose, so when I move it, it sometimes hangs and loses track of the hard drive altogether. It’s getting picked up for repairs tomorrow. I’ll live.
Losing 30% of your score on a lab report just because you did too much work isn’t really fair in my book. Hypothetically speaking, obviously.
Gratiz.be got nominated for Site van het Jaar again. We’re giving away an iPod shuffle and a couple of DVDs to entice people to vote, but personally, I have to admit I don’t think we stand a chance, and I can’t say I really care either.
Right, well, that turned out to be less interesting than I thought.
