“Children of Men”: 6.5/10. You know how “The Pianist” is supposed to be a masterpiece, yet I didn’t care for it? It’s largely the same with this one. I suppose you’d have to care about what’s going on in Iraq or whatever, or be a hippie, or simply like a whole lot of gunfire and foreign gibberish, to enjoy this sort of thing. Capitalist hardasses like myself, on the other hand, mainly end up disappointed and bored.
