Implementation
Key technologies used in this project include:
- the Ogg Vorbis and Theora media formats,
- the ffmpeg2theora conversion utility,
- the Cortado applet,
- the PHP and Perl scripting languages,
- the Java Web Start framework,
- the MySQL database server,
- the Apache HTTP server,
- the ProFTPD FTP server, and
- the Debian GNU/Linux operating system.
The following is an overview of the server entities that the project is comprised of.
